At Powder Cote II, we believe that even small gestures can make a big difference. Recently, we held an employee coat giveaway to share warmth and show our support for our hardworking associates. I brought in about 25 gently used coats—some passed down from a loved one and others I no longer wore. Our plant manager generously purchased them so we could offer them to team members who needed them.

Instead of letting these coats sit unused, we wanted them to help the people we work with every day. Associates stopped by one at a time, tried on a coat, and picked out something that would help them stay warm this winter—conducting this giveaway for employees brought a real sense of appreciation and community to the moment.

As people selected coats, the atmosphere felt positive and uplifting. Smiles, conversations, and gratitude filled the space. These simple interactions reminded us that our workplace is more than a production floor. It is a community where people look out for one another. This employee coat giveaway was a great example of that spirit.

This moment was not only about sharing coats. It was also about showing gratitude and compassion. Many of the coats carried special meaning, and seeing them put to good use felt meaningful. It was encouraging to know they would continue to bring comfort to others as a part of our unique employee coat initiative.

Our team works hard every day to meet production goals and maintain the quality standards we are known for. Because of that, offering this employee coat giveaway felt like the right way to show how much we value the people behind our success.
