A Thanksgiving Tradition at Powder Cote II of Tennessee

As someone who proudly supports our team at Powder Cote II of Tennessee, it was an honor to help continue our long-standing tradition: the Powder Cote II of Tennessee Turkey Giveaway. Every year, our associates look forward to this Thanksgiving event, where each team member receives a free turkey to take home and enjoy with their families. Overall, this annual tradition reflects our appreciation for the people who keep this place running every day.

A Thanksgiving Tradition at Powder Cote II of Tennessee

For 19 years, this giveaway has symbolized gratitude, teamwork, and community. Associates stopped by to pick up their turkeys and share smiles, conversations, and plenty of laughter. As a result, these moments reminded me how special this tradition has become within our workplace culture. It’s a simple gesture, yet it carries a lot of heart.

A Surprise Visit From Butterball

This year, we added extra excitement with a special visitor: Butterball the Turkey. Butterball made a lively appearance on the plant floor and brought jokes, high-fives, big reactions, and plenty of photo opportunities. Whether he was sneaking around corners or showing off his tail feathers, Butterball kept the energy high and the smiles wide.

Because of this, the celebration felt even more engaging and upbeat. The joy, energy, and laughter throughout the plant made the day unforgettable for everyone who participated.

Honoring Our Associates

Across every department—production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and administration—our team works hard to keep our operation moving. In fact, the Turkey Giveaway is a meaningful opportunity to pause and express our appreciation.
