Job Description: Facilities Support Contractor
Position Summary
We seek a dependable and resourceful Facilities Support Contractor to assist in maintaining our facility’s operational efficiency and overall functionality. The ideal candidate will support various facility-related tasks, including general upkeep, minor repairs, and equipment assistance. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
- Address minor repairs and maintenance needs, such as replacing light fixtures, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures.
- Assist in maintaining facility equipment, including HVAC units, lighting systems, and other essential infrastructure. This ensures the facilities support contractor role is carried out effectively.
- Support facility setup for operational needs, including organizing workspaces and assisting with special projects.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of facility supplies and coordinate replenishments as needed.
- Communicate regularly with management to report facility concerns and provide updates on completed tasks.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, support, or a related field. Experience as a Facilities Support Contractor is highly desirable.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks, including lifting, climbing, and operating equipment.
- Reliable transportation to meet the demands of the role.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working Conditions
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Adherence to all safety protocols and use of appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses). Safety is a priority for any facilities support contractor.
